QIZHI Automatic membrane panel welding machine

Membrane type water cooled panel refer to a water-cooled wall composed of airtight panel welded together with flat steel and pipes.

There is gas shielded welding and submerged arc welding in the welding of membrane panel.

Gas shielded welding and submerged arc welding have their own advantages and disadvantages. As for whether to choose gas shielded welding or submerged arc welding, it should be determined based on the manufacturer's market positioning.

Automatic gas shielded production line: The mixed components of its protective gas are (Ar) 85% ~90%+(CO₂) 15% ~10%. In the equipment, the pipes and flat steel are compressed and transported forward by upper and lower rollers, and multiple welding guns can be used for welding up and down simultaneously.

Automatic submerged arc production line: Generally, it is equipped with 4 or 8 welding guns to simultaneously complete the welding of 4 or 8 horizontal fillet welds.

Due to the shallow melting depth and light pollution of gas shielded welding, it is rarely used in membrane wall welding in Europe, America, etc.

Preparation of pipes and flat steel

Due to the fact that the main manufacturing technology for membrane wall panel is the welding technology of light pipes and flat steel, the surface quality of the tubes and flat steel is very important. Before entering the welding machine, the pipes undergo surface cleaning by a straight pipe polishing (polishing) cleaning machine to ensure welding quality.

The panel is composed of multiple pipes and flat steel. The pipes and flat steel purchased from the steel factory have manufacturing tolerances. In order to eliminate these manufacturing tolerances and ensure that the accumulated tolerances do not exceed the tolerance after assembly, and ultimately accurately control the overall dimensions of the pipe panel, it is necessary to finish the width of the flat steel and clean the surface of the flat steel to meet the welding requirements.
